Real Wedding – Noelle & Nate – Grant-Humphrey’s Mansion-

We’ve been lucky enough to not have one but TWO amazing couples this year whose love stories started on a spring break cruise many moons ago! One such couple was Noelle and Nate and not only is it magical that they have the same initials (ND), they have such a loving, authentic relationship that you can’t help but smile as much as they do when you’re around them. Planning their wedding was never an overly-serious, indecisive event – it was humorous, vibrant, exciting and all around fun! And their fantastically laid-back approach to the big day paid off – it was a fantastic party, with family and friends who were equally as personable, authentic and fun to be around!

The reception took place at Grant-Humphrey’s Mansion in the heart of Denver. Noelle and her ladies all got ready there, while Nate and the men prepped over at the Four Seasons.

The ceremony itself took place at the gorgeous Denver Botanic Gardens. As the guests and bridal party arrived, so did a little rain shower. But Noelle and Nate, so go-with-the-flow as always, waited it out for a few minutes and was it ever worth it…

As Noelle and her father walked down the aisle, the sun broke and the entire ceremony was in sunshine!

The newlyweds had a few moments to themselves to snap a few pictures in the Gardens before zipping off to Grant-Humphrey’s to join the rest of their guests for dinner and dancing!

Noelle and Nate stuck with the timeless elegance of Grant-Humphrey’s and kept their decor very soft and romantic. The rich mahogany floor and ceiling trimmings, gorgeous fireplaces and high ceilings make it homey and comfortable without being too stuffy – an extremely classic venue. Soft peaches with a splash of blue adorned their table tops. Their escort card display also doubled as favors – homemade terrariums with moss and a pink flower inside.

Grant-Humphrey’s is a fantastic venue in that even with 160 guests, you feel as if you’re in a friend’s home – although dinner took place in 4 different rooms, they were connected and allowed for easy mingling.

Nate gave a fantastically sweet and romantic speech that brought a tear to everyone’s eye (I propose he starts a school to teach all men how to be so fantastically sweet and romantic!). He was followed by some funny speeches and stories by other family members and then everyone hit the floor to show off their amazing dance moves!

Easily one of the best (and most fun) weddings we’ve had all year, we are so grateful we were able to be part of Nate and Noelle’s happy day and wish them all the best in the future!
